The Elusive Uptown Cypress
As I took a picture of a lone Cypress, I said to my wife, “Huh. You never actually see Cypress trees Uptown. You only see them in the parks and swamps.” The old maps say this whole place was a cypress swamp.
A day later I noticed that THERE ARE TEN OF THEM DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE!
