In the Gulf South, nature wins every time. It will overwhelm you. Should man leave this place, all trace would vanish-be swallowed whole in moments, leaving only bronze statues of Louis Armstrong.
Allowing us to live here is a gracious act of the mossy powers that be. But in the mean-time if a tree decides you don’t get a sidewalk, you don’t get a sidewalk.
